SEATAC, Wash. (AP) — The new rental car facility is projected to open in February at Sea-Tac Airport.
The five-story structure has space for 5,400 vehicles.
The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce reports (http://is.gd/BbWWZa ) the Port of Seattle started planning the project 17 years ago. It cost $351 million.
Buses will shuttle travelers between the airport and the rental car facility, which is located near the Tukwila light rail station.
The new space for rental cars will free up about 3,200 spaces inside the main airport terminal garage.
