Stetson beats East Tennessee State 73-65

DELAND, Fla. (AP) — Aaron Graham had 20 points to lead four double-figure scorers for Stetson as the Hatters defeated East Tennessee State 73-65 on Thursday night in the Atlantic Sun opener for both teams.

Joel Naburgs scored 15 points, Chris Perez 14 and Adam Pegg 12 for the Hatters (4-3), who led 28-25 at the break and outscored ETSU 45-40 in the second half. The Hatters opened the second half on a 16-4 run, sparked by Graham’s 3-pointer out of the break.

Both Graham and Naburgs knocked down five 3-pointers for the Hatters, who shot 11 of 24 from beyond the arc (45.8 percent).

The Buccaneers (3-3) shot just 2 of 12 from long range (16.7 percent).

The Hatters also won the rebounding battle 45-28.

Isiah Brown scored 20 points to lead ETSU.
