Letter: Murray and cohorts are failing

The Columbian
Published: December 1, 2011, 4:00pm

I wrote earlier this year that I was going to sit back and listen more and say less. Again I find it necessary to speak up, like in the movie “Network,” and insist that “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more.” The USA is under attack by politicians who can’t do their job because they are too worried about their job. They should be working to create jobs and save the economy. I will not vote or support Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., because she is not doing her job. That includes the other members of the supercommittee, as well. It is clear that the current Congress can’t seem to do what’s needed to save this country. Therefore, I believe they should all go home, permanently.

Let’s find some people who are interested in the welfare of the country, and not about getting re-elected. After all, any businessman would fire employees if they weren’t doing the job and still taking the money.
