Man, boy die in head-on crash in Snohomish

OSO, Wash. (AP) -- A 12-year-old boy and a 60-year-old man are dead following a head-on crash on Highway 530 in Snohomish County.

The State Patrol says the accident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday near Oso.

The patrol says a westbound pickup truck driven by John H. Jones of Concrete turned left in front of an eastbound pickup driven by 29-year-old Robert M. Boggs of Arlington.

The resulting collision pushed both vehicles in the eastbound lane.

The patrol says Jones and his 12-year-old passenger, Dakota Robertson, were killed, while Boggs was injured and rushed to Cascade Valley Hospital.
