MIAMI (AP) — Don Shula is using a wheelchair but hopes to be playing golf again soon.

The NFL Hall of Fame coach took part in a pregame ceremony Sunday honoring Miami Dolphins Hall of Famers before the team’s game against Oakland.

Shula rose from his chair with assistance to unveil a new plaque in the walkway of the stadium entrance. Shula, 81, said his back has been bothering him recently but he’s undergoing therapy three times a week.

Hall of Famers Nick Buoniconti, Larry Csonka, Bob Griese, Larry Little, Dwight Stephenson and Paul Warfield also attended the ceremony.
