VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- Vancouver, Wash., police say a 19-year-old man injured by a police officer's bullet after a Dec. 1 bank robbery has been released from a hospital and booked into jail.
Spokeswoman Kim Kapp says Stephen Lubeck was booked Monday for investigation of first-degree kidnapping, robbery and assault in the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank branch.
Kapp says the robbery investigation continues. Police have identified the officer who fired as 31-year-old Jeffrey Anaya.
The Columbian reported that some 911 callers watched or followed as the robber fled and told dispatchers where he was running so police could pursue him.
