SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a 42-year-old Deer Park, Wash., woman as a homicide.

Chanin Starbuck was found dead in her rented home on Saturday. Detectives have not released her cause of death. No one has been arrested.

Deputies found the woman’s body after a 911 call about uncollected mail and packages at the home.

Starbuck is a recently divorced mother of five children between the ages of 10 and 21.

There were no obvious signs of trauma, but Lt. Steve Barbieri says detectives are looking at other suspicious circumstances he declined to discuss. They’re also awaiting autopsy results.
