EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Eugene police estimate the city has spent nearly $116,000 responding to Occupy Eugene demonstrations, most of it on overtime for officers.

One Occupy Eugene camper, Matthew Lehr, told KVAL (http://is.gd/aJ9fXO) the tent city is actually helping police by putting everyone in one location.
