VanMall — Foster kids in Clark County will be warmer this winter thanks to the Sleep Country USA coat drive. During the drive in October, more than 4,000 coats were collected in the Portland area, including Clark County. Bridge the Gap Ministries of Vancouver received 488 coats, and Families for Kids, a program of Lutheran Community Services Northwest, received 460 to distribute to area foster children. Thanks to community donations, this was Sleep Country’s most successful coat drive in the program’s six years.
