FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets right guard Brandon Moore and defensive lineman Mike DeVito sat out practice with injuries, while running back Joe McKnight was limited with a hyperextended elbow.

Coach Rex Ryan says Moore is dealing with a sore hip, but expects him to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Moore, who has played in 117 consecutive games, had offseason hip surgery that he was still recovering from in the preseason.

DeVito missed the game last Sunday at Washington with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee, and Ryan says he’s “very, very doubtful.”

McKnight wore a sleeve on his right elbow after hyperextending it against the Redskins. Ryan says his status for Sunday is uncertain.

Cornerback and special teamer Ellis Lankster sat out with a sore back.
