Prairie 66, Tumwater 55 — Nathan Cherzan had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Dane Brooks’ perimeter shooting fueled a big second quarter for the visiting Falcons.
Dane Brooks scored all 11 of his points, hitting three 3-point baskets, to help Prairie (4-1) outscore Tumwater 21-9 in the second quarter and lead 39-23 at the half.
Tumwater closed the gap in the third quarter, but some late free throws from Andy Hak, who finished with 11 points, helped the visitors securer the win. Preston Brooks had seven assists for Prairie.
