Clark County homebuilding remained stagnant in November

Homebuilding continued to languish through November, due, in part, to the area’s oversaturated market of existing houses for sale

Twenty-seven permits for single-family home construction were handed out by Clark County’s Community Development Department last month, down from 29 permits issued in November of last year.

So far this year, builders have taken out 324 permits to build single-family homes from January through November. The total represents a 33.5 percent decline from the 487 permits issued during the same 11-month period in 2010.
