Girls basketball: Camas 52, Kelso 35

A 15-3 first quarter set the tone as the host Papermakers opened Class 3A Greater St. Helens League play with a victory.

Kendra Preuninger scored 10 of her team-leading 15 points in the fourth quarter to help seal the win for Camas (2-1). Sydney Allen scored 13 points and Tatum Schroeder added 10 for the Papermakers.

Taylor Pritchett scored 22 for Kelso.
