Tre Clark scored 10 of his game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Plainsmen pulled away for a 4A Greater St. Helens League win.

Heritage led 49-48 after three quarters, but Evergreen held a 21-5 advantage in the final period.

“We played well in the fourth quarter,” Evergreen coach Kelly Blankenship said. “Jared Price came off the bench and played some good defense for us in the fourth.”

Caleb Dressler scored 14 of his 19 points in the second half as Evergreen controlled the rebounding. Dressler added 15 rebounds, two blocks and two assists. Clark had 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

Timmy Hergert led Heritage with 21 points, and Ezekial Wells added 15.

“Heritage is a much-improved team from the first two times I saw them play,” Blankenship said. “They played very well. We killed it on the board, but without that we would have struggled.”
