Letter: Follow congresswoman’s lead

The Columbian
Published: December 14, 2011, 4:00pm

I read in the Dec. 10 story “Herrera Beutler urged to back bridge” that Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt and Clark County Commissioner Steve Stuart, both Democrats, were pressuring our Republican Congresswomen Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, to move on their requests … according to their will … according to their time frame.

The good congresswoman, intelligent and a woman of deep integrity, represents the will of the people and needs time to find out just what the will of the people is. I suggest that the two Democrats take a lesson from her great example of real leadership.
