Camas soldier welcomed home after Afghanistan deployment

Camas — Oregon Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Peter Fritsch of the 1249 Engineer Battalion was one of about 125 soldiers to fly home from Afghanistan on Dec. 12. Fritch of Camas was welcomed at Salem (Ore.) Municipal Airport by his wife, Dori. He was part of a 400-day deployment that provided command and control support for Task Force Gridley.
