In response to customer feedback, the customer service counter in Vancouver’s City Hall lobby will expand its hours on Jan. 3.
The customer service area of the lobby will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, the customer service area will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At the counter, customers can purchase or renew a parking permit, pay a parking ticket or water/sewer bill, make a loan payment, and pay for and pick up a meter hood rental.
The hours are now similar to the building permit center, also on the first floor of City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St.
The customer service counter’s hours were changed to avoid closing at 4 p.m. The building itself is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
