Letter: Participate in keeping our city clean

The Columbian
Published: December 22, 2011, 4:00pm

Margaret McCluskey, who died as the result of a bus accident on Dec. 2, was a community activist who was concerned that downtown Vancouver and all of Vancouver be clean and safe; that garbage and cigarette butts be properly disposed of in order to ensure clean water for humans and fish, and clean streets and sidewalks. She participated in activities and enjoyed events downtown and in Esther Short Park.

In honor of her memory, I suggest we all commit to doing our part to continue her goal and to be mindful of how we take care of our city.
