VANCOUVER — We know who the main star of Christmas is. The second star must be Curly the camel.

Curly is the local celebrity who lives with a La Center family and is now making his third annual appearance in the living Nativity performance put on by Living Hope Church and the Rev. John Bishop.

Living Hope is the church that bought the former Kmart store on Andresen Road this year.

Bishop puts on a 45-minute living Nativity show that steps back in time to the true story of Christmas — told with music, drama and live animals including Curly the camel.

The show runs Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30, 3, 4:30 and 6 p.m.

Living Hope Church is at 2711 N.E. Andresen Road.
