JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed cornerback Trumaine McBride and promoted defensive end Jammie Kirlew to the active roster from the practice squad.

The team also waived linebacker Mike Lockley.

McBride has played in 47 games with 10 starts since entering the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick by Chicago in 2007. He also spent time with Arizona and New Orleans. He has 50 tackles, one interception, six passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Kirlew, who has spent time with Denver and Buffalo, was signed to Jacksonville’s practice squad on Dec. 9. He was a seventh-round pick by the Broncos in 2010 and was on Buffalo’s practice squad for a portion of his rookie season. He was waived by the Bills during final cuts.
