Letter: 1% self-defense full of 99% arrogance

The Columbian

I don’t think it would have been possible to make a better case for the 99 percent than that made by the elitist snobs quoted in the Dec. 21 Columbian story “1 percent denounce ‘imbecile’ attack” on page two of the Business section. It is amusing to see that a 1 percenter set up a think tank for the explicit purpose of messaging the 1 percent.

I guess AEI, CATO, Hoover, Heritage, AFP, Freedomworks, Fox, PNAC, 90 percent of the mainstream media, Harvard Business School and professors at elitist universities were just not enough to get the message through the thick skulls of the 99 percent of us who are such “imbeciles” that we would dare speak out against them.
