Portland children’s hospital gets gift of pillows

Brush Prairie — Students and staff members from Summit View High School donated 33 pillows to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland on Dec. 2. The pillows were purchased with staff members’ donations. Jeri Stith of Summit View faculty said schools that donate to the hospital get their names engraved on a granite wall in front of the hospital next to the eternal flame. “Summit View’s name will be engraved on that wall within the year,” Stith said.
