Stud Muffin wins Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Stud Muffin rallied to beat Southbeachsandy by a head on Wednesday in the $59,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

The 7-year-old gelding trained by David Jacobson and ridden by David Cohen picked up his seventh win in 15 starts this year, and the 14th victory of his career. The time was 1:42.94 for the one mile, 70 yards over the track labeled ‘good.’

Stud Muffin paid $15, $6.50 and $4.90. Southbeachsandy returned $5.20 and $3.70 while Make Note paid $6.10 to show.
