LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Sparks have signed forward Ebony Hoffman to a free-agent contract, and guards Ticha Penicheiro and Noelle Quinn have re-signed with the WNBA team.
Also joining the Sparks for the upcoming season are guard Natasha Lacy and forward LaToya Pringle.
Hoffman returns to Los Angeles, where she played collegiately at Southern California, after playing the last seven seasons with the Indiana Fever. She averaged 6.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 232 regular-season games.
Hoffman is playing this offseason with a team in China, averaging 26.3 points and 9.8 rebounds through 13 games.
Penicheiro, the WNBA’s career leader in assists and steals, returns for her second season in Los Angeles. She averaged 6.3 assists last season, her 13th.
