MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Twins radio announcer John Gordon has decided to make his 25th season with the team his last.

The 70-year-old Gordon says he’ll retire after working a 90-game schedule this season. He started broadcasting Twins games in 1987, the year of their first World Series title, and became known for his “Touch ’em all!” home run call.

Gordon says he originally planned to make 2010 his final season, but broadcast partner Dan Gladden and Twins officials persuaded him to return for another summer. Gordon says he’s in good health and that he wants to spend more time with his family.
