SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Marion County sheriff’s officers say they are interviewing a person of interest in a homicide at a home east of Salem.

No arrests have been made, and the Salem Statesman Journal reports that deputies haven’t identified the victim. Sheriff’s Cmdr. Kevin Schultz says the case is being investigated as a homicide.

A neighbor tells the newspaper that he found the victim shortly before noon Saturday surrounded by blood in the living room of a mobile home.

The paper quotes a neighbor as saying one deputy drew a gun and approached a nearby residence, and after that deputies took away a man.
