UNC Wilmington defeats William & Mary 91-81

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Trevor Deloach scored 28 points and Keith Rendleman added 22 to lead North Carolina Wilmington to a 91-81 win over William & Mary on Saturday night.

Deloach and Rendleman each went 10 for 15 from the floor, helping the Seahawks (11-13, 5-8 Colonial Athletic Association) snap a four-game losing streak.

Chad Tomko added 13 points, six rebounds and six assists for UNC Wilmington, which shot 60.8 percent (31 of 51).

The Tribe (7-17, 3-10) were outscored 28-14 in the paint in the opening half and trailed 49-45 at the break. William & Mary shot 70.8 percent in the first half (17 of 24), including 8 of 14 from 3-point range (57.1 percent).

Quinn McDowell scored 18 points, Brandon Britt added 15, Marcus Kitts had 12 and Julian Boatner 11 for the Tribe, who finished 14 of 34 from 3-point range (41.2 percent).

William & Mary has lost five of six.
