PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A woman was killed when the car she was driving was struck by a sport utility vehicle in Portland.
Portland police identified the victim as 32-year-old Tessa Conradi, who died at the scene of the crash early Monday in northeast Portland.
Two passengers in the SUV, 27-year-old Shorona Rowland and 34-year-old Charlotte Mose, were taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver of the SUV, 38-year-old Jesse Ream, ran from the scene. Investigators say they believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash but no charges had been filed.
