IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — David Boudia scored six 10s and finished first in the men’s platform final Sunday, totaling 578.05 points at the USA Diving winter national championships.

Boudia executed a near-perfect three-and a half reverse summersault dive for the win.

Christina Loukas and Cassidy Krug ended in a rare tie for the top spot on the women’s three-meter springboard. Mary Beth Dunnichay, the youngest member of the 2008 Olympic team, and Katherine Bell won the women’s platform synchronized contest.

The winter nationals, which began Jan. 30, are the first opportunity for divers to qualify for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
