Rose Quarter exit to close tonight

Tonight from 10 p.m. to midnight, Oregon Department of Transportation crews will close the Interstate 5 southbound offramp to the Rose Quarter/City Center (exit 302A) to replace a damaged attenuator barrier. A crash damaged the attenuator barrier this past weekend.

Attenuator barriers are installed at freeway splits and exits to reduce the severity of crashes and protect the concrete barriers behind them.

Detour:

Motorists traveling to the Rose Quarter or NE Broadway will continue on I-5 southbound, take the Oregon Highway 99E/ U.S. 26 Ross Island Bridge offramp (exit 300), head east and turn left on Highway 99E Grand Avenue, take a left on the Morrison Bridge to the Morrison Bridge on-ramp to I-5 northbound and take the Rose Quarter/Broadway-Weidler Street off-ramp (exit 302A).
