OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A 19-year-old is jailed in Olympia for investigation of rape.
The Olympian reports he was arrested in connection with a Feb. 1 attack on a woman walking down a street.
She was walking home from a convenience store when a man dragged her into bushes. She suffered a broken nose and fractured cheekbone in the attack.
Tips led police to identify the 19-year-old as a suspect. The woman picked his picture out of a police photo montage.
He was arrested at his grandfather’s home in Shelton.
