RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) — Workers at the Hanford nuclear reservation resumed pumping radioactive waste out of a leak-prone tank this week, after lengthy delays caused by technical problems.

Hanford has 149 single-shell tanks. Seven already have had their radioactive waste emptied into newer and sturdier double-shell tanks.
