LACEY, Wash. (AP) — A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a car Wednesday evening near Lacey.
The Washington State Patrol says 55-year-old Steve E. Strand of Shelton died at the scene.
Troopers say the driver of the car, a 39-year-old Lacey man, had been drinking. He was booked him into the Thurston County Jail for investigations of vehicular homicide.
