Gonzaga beats Loyola Marymount 67-57

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Steven Gray scored 15 points to lead four Gonzaga players in double figures in a 67-57 win over Loyola Marymount on Thursday night

Marquise Carter and David Stockton each scored 11 points, while Elias Harris scored 10 for the Bulldogs (16-9, 6-3 West Coast). Robert Sacre blocked five shots and just missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Gonzaga built a 37-26 halftime lead and held on with free throws. The Bulldogs made just five field goals in the second half but went 20 for 26 at the foul line.

Larry Davis led all scorers with 18 points for Loyola Marymount (9-16, 1-9). Vernon Teel added 10 points for the Lions, who never led in the game. Both teams shot 25 percent in the second half, with Gonzaga making 43 percent for the game and Loyola Marymount hitting 35 percent.
