Former Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding and her husband of nearly a year are expecting a baby boy, according to various media reports.
Harding, 40, and her husband, Joseph Price, live near Yacolt.
According to Kerry Eggers of the Portland Tribune, Harding’s due date is near. The mom-to-be told Eggers that she was “super excited.”
It will be Harding’s first child.
Harding, an Oregon native, was the first American woman to land a triple axel in competition and 1991 national champion. She became notorious when her then-husband and her associates were convicted of attacking a skating rival. Harding had several well-publicized brushes with the law, followed by a brief boxing career, before settling down with Price. The couple was wed last June in a private ceremony in Clark County.
She is currently a commentator on truTV’s “The Smoking Gun Presents: World’s Dumbest.”
