Mangano, Yale down Dartmouth 69-60

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Greg Mangano scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Yale past Dartmouth 69-60 in an Ivy League game Saturday night.

The Bulldogs (12-10, 5-3) shot just 32.3 percent from the floor (10 for 31) in the first half, but still took a 27-24 lead into halftime. Mangano went 6 for 11 in the opening half, while his teammates combined to make just four shots on 20 attempts.

Yale extended its lead to as many as 13, 65-52, with less than 2 minutes remaining.

Reggie Willhite added 13 points and Porter Braswell had 12 for the Bulldogs, who were outscored 25-3 in bench points.

The Big Green (5-17, 1-7) got at least eight points from four different players, but none of them scored in double figures. Tyler Melville and Matt LaBove each had nine points, and David Rufful and Nick Jackson scored eight apiece.

Dartmouth has lost 10 of its past 11 games.
