AMES, Iowa (AP) — Kelsey Bolte scored 25 points and the No. 22 Iowa State Cyclones earned a 61-53 win over the Kansas State Wildcats on Sunday.
Bolte broke the 20-point mark for the ninth time in 10 conference games this season and was 12 of 12 from the free throw line as the Cyclones (17-7, 5-5 Big 12) shot 21 of 26 from the line as a team.
Jalana Childs led the Wildcats (16-7, 6-4) with 21 points and five rebounds. Brittany Chambers added 19 points.
Bolte scored eight of the Cyclones’ first 16 points as Iowa State took an early 16-12 lead.
