The Educational Service District 112 board will hold a special meeting at noon today in Vancouver.
On the agenda: Screening of applications for the open Position 4 board vacancy, and discussion of Senate Bill 5639, Gov. Chris Gregoire’s proposal to lump all Washington education divisions into one Department of Education, with a cabinet-level director not elected by the public.
The board meets in the superintendent’s office at ESD 112 headquarters, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave.
