DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — JP Kuhlman scored 19 points and Davidson continued its mastery of Georgia Southern in an 83-56 rout Wednesday night.

Jake Cohen and Nik Cochran each added 18 points and, combined with Kuhlman’s scoring the three nearly matched the Eagles’ output by themselves, totaling 55 points. The Wildcats (14-13, 8-8 Southern Conference) beat Georgia Southern (4-24, 0-15) for the 10th straight time.

Davidson trailed 10-5 early, then scored the next 21 points to take charge. The Wildcats, who shot 55.8 percent from the field for the game (29 of 52), led 45-22 at halftime and by as many as 35 points in the second half.

Ben Drayton led Georgia Southern with 16 points and 10 assists, but the Eagles shot only 40.4 percent from the field (19 of 47) and never recovered from the 21-0 run or from being outrebounded 40-21.
