ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Bulldogger came from off the pace to win the $60,062 feature at Santa Anita by 114 lengths on Thursday.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Bulldogger ran six furlongs in 1:08.62 and paid $4, $2.40 and $2.10 as the even-money favorite. Streakin’ Mohican returned $2.80 and $2.20, while Uh Oh Bango was another half-length back in third and paid $2.40 to show.

Bulldogger had been idle since finishing fifth in a stakes race at Churchill Downs on Nov. 5. Trainer Bob Baffert removed the blinkers that the colt had worn in his first five starts, and he responded with the win.

The victory, worth $35,400, increased Bulldogger’s career earnings to $113,438, with three wins in six starts.
