DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — The Busches and Labontes aren’t the only brothers in the Daytona 500.

NASCAR regular Brad Keselowski pushed his older brother, Brian, to a fifth-place finish in the second of two qualifying races Thursday for the upcoming Daytona 500.

Brian started crying in his unsponsored No. 92 Dodge as he stopped on pit road, then got a hug from his baby brother. Their dad showed up a few minutes later to join in the celebration.

Brian’s unexpected run puts three sets of brothers in Sunday’s “Great American Race.” Kurt and Kyle Busch, and Terry and Bobby Labonte already qualified for NASCAR’s Super Bowl.

Brian says it “feels absolutely awesome” and says he’s not sure anyone aside from his brother would have stuck with him in the qualifier.
