WOODLAND — A public workshop to discuss a potential public boat launch on Port of Woodland property will begin at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24 in the port office, 115 Davidson.

Possible sites include port properties at Martins Bar/Lions Day Park, Austin Point plus other spots on the Lewis and Columbia rivers.

“There is a lot of interest in the community for this project and hearing what’s important to people is critical in this decision process,” said commission member Paul Cline.

The port’s commission room has a capacity of 45, so RSVPs are requested. To RSVP, call Nelson Holmberg, port executive director, at 360-225-6555 or e-mail him at nholmberg@portofwoodland.com.
