Jacksonville defeats Kennesaw State 75-60

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Ayron Hardy scored 15 points to lead Jacksonville to a 75-60 win over Kennesaw State on Friday night, sweeping the season series.

The Dolphins (18-8, 12-5 Atlantic Sun Conference), who never trailed, have won four of their last five and solidified their third-place spot in the league standings.

Delwan Graham added 13 points, and Tevin Galvin had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Jacksonville, which won the previous meeting 87-59 on Jan. 22.

The Dolphins led by as many as 18 in the first half and 44-30 at the break after shooting 51.7 percent (15 of 29).

The Owls (8-19, 6-11) closed to 59-49 with 9:24 to go on a Spencer Dixon jumper, but Hardy hit a 3-pointer to spark a 13-4 run.

Markeith Cummings led Kennesaw State, which has lost two in a row, with 18 points. Dixon added 14 and LaDaris Green had his seventh consecutive double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
