East Tennessee State beats Lipscomb 102-95 in 2OT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Micah Williams scored 13 of his 27 points in two overtime periods and East Tennessee State defeated Lipscomb 102-95 on Saturday night.

Williams had both of his 3-pointers in the first overtime, and went 6 of 6 from the free-throw line in the second.

The Buccaneers (20-10, 15-4 Atlantic Sun Conference) were 6 of 11 from the field, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range, and went 10 of 12 from the foul line in the two extra periods.

Isiah Brown added 22 points and 11 rebounds, Justin Tubbs had 20 points and Sheldon Cooley 14 for ETSU.

Lipscomb’s Brandon Brown cut it to one, 96-95, on a free throw with 1:29 remaining, before the Buccaneers pulled away with 6 straight free throws. The Bisons (16-11, 11-7) were 0 for 3 from 3-point range during the stretch.

Josh Slater had 27 points and Adnan Hodzic tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds for Lipscomb.
