Peck, Wroblewski lead Cornell past Dartmouth 96-76

ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Errick Peck scored a career-high 22 points and Chris Wroblewski added 19 points and nine assists to lead Cornell to a 96-76 rout of Dartmouth on Saturday night.

Max Groebe and Drew Ferry each had 14 points for the Big Red (7-17, 3-7 Ivy League), who knocked down 16 3-pointers and shot 57 percent (33 of 58) from the floor. Johnathan Gray had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Jake Matthews added 10 points.

Cornell, which snapped a two-game losing streak, used its strong shooting from beyond the arc to take a 41-27 lead on Matthews’ 3-pointer. The Big Red didn’t let up in the second half, leading by as many as 25 points.

R.J. Griffin scored 18 points for the Big Green (5-19, 1-9), who lost their seventh straight. Dartmouth shot 54 percent (26 of 48) from the floor and went 7 of 14 from 3-point range, but couldn’t overcome 17 turnovers.
