Albany (N.Y.) defeats Binghamton 57-54

VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) — Logan Aronhalt scored 16 points and Luke Devlin added 10 points and 13 rebounds to lead Albany (N.Y.) over Binghamton 57-54 on Sunday.

The Great Danes (14-15, 7-7 America East Conference) trailed 52-49 with 2:45 left to play as Aronhalt’s two free throws pulled them within one, 52-51.

Aronhalt made a layup with less than 2 minutes to go, giving Albany its first lead, 53-52, since the 5:26 mark of the opening half. Billy Allen hit two free throws with 12 seconds left to seal the win.

The Bearcats (7-20, 4-10) led 35-28 at halftime after shooting 47.6 percent from the floor (10 of 21) and scoring 17 points off 12 turnovers in the opening half.

Binghamton made only 6 of 23 from the field (26.1 percent), including 2 of 11 from 3-point range (18.2 percent) in the second half.

Moussa Camara scored 17 points and Greer Wright added 15 for the Bearcats.
