SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a trooper found more than 14 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle of a Covington, Wash., man stopped for speeding on Interstate 5 near Salem.
Lt. Gregg Hastings says the seized marijuana was worth about $35,000.
Hastings says 51-year-old Kelly Dean Scannell was arrested Monday for unlawful possession and distribution of a controlled substance.
