Wisconsin-Green Bay beats Youngstown State 71-60

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Bryquis Perine scored 19 points and Rahmon Fletcher 18 to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 71-60 victory over Youngstown State on Thursday night.

Perine got 14 of his points in the second half, when the Phoenix (14-16, 8-9 Horizon League) shot 54.2 percent (13 of 24) after leading 30-23 at halftime.

Youngstown State (9-19, 2-15) shot 36.4 percent in the second half (12 of 33) and got no closer than six points, 47-41, with 10:37 remaining.

Kendrick Perry scored 16 of his 19 points for the Penguins in the second half, when he made 4 of 5 behind the 3-point line. Damian Eargle also scored 19 for Youngstown State, and grabbed seven rebounds and blocked four shots.

It was the fifth consecutive win in the series for Green Bay, which has won its last two games after losing its previous five.

Youngstown State has lost five of its last six games.
