The Port of Woodland has canceled today’s scheduled workshop because of snowy weather conditions.
“We’re not willing to take any chances on the safety of guests coming to the port for our meeting,” said Nelson Holmberg, the port’s executive director, in a written statement. The workshop, to discuss possible options for building a boat launch on port property, was slated for 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the port’s Woodland office, 115 Davidson.
Holmberg said the port will announce a rescheduled date and time for the workshop next week.
