Gardeners who want to plant and tend to a plot at Clark County’s 78th Street Heritage Farm can submit their names to a lottery. Dozens of 20-by-20-foot plots are available.

To enter, submit your information to Sunrise O’Mahoney, 360-619-8315 or sunrise.omahoney@clark.wa.gov.

The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. March 9. The drawing will be March 10, and winners will be notified by March 11.

Cost is $60; scholarships are available. There’s a limit of one plot per household. ADA-accessible plots are available. No pesticides or herbicides may be used. Gardeners get a year’s use of the plot, beginning in March.

Winners may take free classes from the Master Gardener Foundation. The first class begins March 19.
